Cala Galdana beach

Cala Galdana is one of the most popular beaches on the island, is at the end of Ferreries. The shape of the wide beach, which forms a perfect semicircle, the high cliffs planted pines that border the cove protecting it from wind, the white sand, crystal clear waters...

Son Bou Beach in Menorca

Son Bou beach located next to Alaior is the longest of Menorca, four miles long. This beach is completely open to the sea, so perhaps you should not ignore the corresponding flag signal at all times whether or not it dangerous to swim in it.

Son Bou is entirely white sand beach, very long, unlike the small coves that abound in Menorca.

It has a good number of bars, restaurants, hotels and other services.

Cala'n Porter beach

The beach of Cala'n Porter is one of the most spectacular of the island. White sand and an extremely wide usable space, around it we can find one of the most important tourist resorts of Menorca. There are many apartments above the towering cliffs of the cove, which shaped like a shell protects the beach from the wind.

In the urbanization there is a notable nightlife, with numerous bars and restaurants and it is also the spectacular disco "Cova d'en Xoroi" with a privileged location in a natural cave on the cliffs.

Macarella beach

Macarella  is one of the most popular places with a beautiful landscape of the island. These two small beaches are within a cove close to Cala Galdana, which is accessed from Ciutadella, on the road to Sant Joan de Missa. The area is included in the protected area, and therefore there are no buildings, except for a small restaurant near the beach.

On the beach access road panels it is indicated if there is space available in the parking, as the vehicle capacity is limited.

In Macarelleta, a smaller beach which can be reached by walking a few minutes from Macarella is consented nudity and in fact this beach may be considered a nude beach.

Binineca beach

Binibeca beach is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque in Menorca, with about 180 meters long and very clean waters. It is located in the municipality of Sant Lluis, about 8 km from Mahon.

Being so near Mahon is probably very crowded in summer by the large number of people who reside seasonally in their second homes.

Next to Binineca beach we will find shops, bars and restaurants.

Arenal d'en castell

Located by the end of Mercadal, Arenal d'en Castell beach is wide and sheltered, which has given rise to an important development.

To get there, take Highway Mahon - Fornells and take the road where the sign post.

There are hotels, apartments, restaurants, etc., And the beach has lifeguards, sun beds, pedal boats ...

Cala Pilar cove in Menorca

Representative of the differences between the north and south, Cala Pilar is one of the most difficult beaches to access throughout Menorca.

To get there, take a detour on the road, between Ciutadella and Ferreries, which reaches a few kilometers from the beach. Then there is a 1 hour walk approximately, first among the century old oaks and  without shade.

Golden sand and clear waters. There are no trees and hardly any shade, so it is advisable to bring umbrella.

Wind from the north will affect this beach, so before making your trip to Cala Pilar be sure to check the weather forecast and the wind.

Algaraians beaches in Menorca

Menorca Beaches AlgaraiansThese beaches are also known as The Valley, and is divided into two areas: the most accessible because it is next to the parking is known as "dels Tancats" and the smaller beach is located on the eastern side, known as "Bot Platja d'es."

The sand is very white and thin, unlike other beaches on the North Coast. You can reach it by car on the same road from Cala Morell (from Ciutadella). It is a very recommended beach.

Cala Blanca in Menorca

Cala Blanca, this pretty little cove. Around it is the urbanization with the same name, with numerous hotels and apartments, but a friendly environment.

There is a lively nightlife and plenty of restaurants and bars, diving club and other services.

We recommend visiting "S'aigo Dolce", a sandy corner on the right side of the creek, which can be reached by taking the path that borders the sea.

Cala Mesquida beach in Menorca

Cala Mesquida beach is popular within the mahon people, many of whom have in the small resort of Cala Mesquida their second home. The cove is wide and open with golden sand. There are lifeguards, and in the small town bars and restaurants. To get there take the road that starts from the bottom of the port of Mahon.Morell Cove Menorca

Cala Morell

The beach is small but clean and quiet. Moreover, there are stone platforms for bathing around the entire perimeter of the cove.

To get to Cala Morell you have to go through Ciutadella.

Cala Pregona

The roads leading directly to this beach are private and the owners do not allow the use of them to reach this cove. There are no services, but worth a visit despite the half-hour walk.
